in the transportation field. He has managed a number of
transportation operations, including: a bus driver training

bus system, and the largest private ferry and bus operation in
the United States.
He has performed all of the typical
management responsibilities of personnel, training, safety, planning,
maintenance, system performance, purchasing and customer relations.
As manager of the Union County (NJ) Paratransit System, Mr. O'Brien
managed 65 vehicles and 90 people, annually providing 250,000
rides to the elderly and handicapped of the county. There
were 5 operating locations and a central administrative location.
While

Mr. O'Brien developed a three-day
Paratransit Operator's Training program to train operators. It
included: radio communications, first aid and CPR, customer

Mr. O'Brien received a National Association of Counties award
for "creativity and ingenuity."
